Halloween

This year for Halloween, we did things a little differently since Fred had to work for part of the day when before he was suppose to have the day off. We went to our friends Halloween party where they played a ton of games. It was fun and chaotic. There were a ton of kids. Ethan was the oldest and most kids were a year younger than Caleb but they still had fun.

I then got everything ready for our traditional pumpkin stew and prepped the kids' pumpkins. Then when Daddy got home, we carved the faces. We finished right before dinner- just in the knick of time. Then we cleaned up and got dressed.

Ethan was Harry Potter (without the glasses), Caleb was Jack Skellington, Asher wanted to be his Luigi from last year and Macie was in her sunflower costume. Daddy dressed up as a 'beach bum'. We went around kinda early so when we were out, not a lot of kids were trick or treating yet. Macie just hung out in her stroller while the boys did their thing. They went up to the scary houses with Daddy since I refused to. Caleb stayed back with me but Ethan and Asher went.

We always don't trick or treat very long. The boys seem to never want to go for very long. So, afterward, we kept our candy bowls out and called it a night. We got in PJ's, drank hot cocoa and watched some cooking shows which is something we've been doing quite often, recently. The kids love them.

Macie went right to bed, she was so tired. It was a super fun Halloween but I was ready for November since I really love Thanksgiving. The next day I took all the Halloween stuff down and put up Thanksgiving.
