Fred and I voted for our new president. The two candidates were Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Both of whom we were not wanting but between the two choices, we decided to vote for Donald Trump. Democrats everywhere are in an outrage because Donald Trump won the election. Because have become quite nasty towards one another.
Fred and I have talked a lot about the election, the propositions and where the country is headed. Although the country needs a lot of work and the system is broken, I know that eventually Christ will come again and will bring forth a perfect government with a perfect judicial system. Our country will only become more broken before he comes. But I hope Donald Trump will turn out to be a great president and help fix our economy. In the meantime, I will continue to teach our children what Christ teaches and how we feel towards certain rules and laws.
I'm still so grateful to live in a country where we get to vote. I take the privilege seriously and am deeply grateful for the thousands of men and women who have and do fight for this country and our freedoms. God Bless America.
