San Francisco: Boudin and Ghirardelli Square

After Alcatraz Island, we visited Pier 39's famous food places: Boudin Bakery and Ghirardelli Square. The clam chowder was so die for! It was so yummy. Ethan got the clam chowder and loved it. Of course the bread was amazing too. How could it not be?! And who doesn't love bread?!

We toured the bakery and ate in the restaurant part of the place. It's very nice. After, we walked off our late lunch and walked to Ghirardelli Square. The Ghirardelli factory has been shut down for years so you can only go to the chocolate shops nearby. They have a fountain and a couple lawn games to play too. We got our free chocolate sample and then played some lawn games. The line to get a sundae was insanely long so we didn't do that. On our (long) way back to the car, it started to rain. By the time we got back to the car, we were soaking wet. It actually was fun though. We were all pretty tired from the day and so full from our late lunch that we just ordered a pizza and called it a day.
