On Friday, September 8th, Ethan finished Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix. It took him a long time to finish because he kept stopping for long periods of time but once school picked up again, he read at least 2 chapters a day and finished! I'm so proud of him for continuing to read these books! He said that his favorite part was when Dumbledore and Voldemort had their epic battle at the end. 
Coincidentally, at the beginning of 5th grade, they found out they had an assignment to read a book and then present the book to the class in some way. He decided to do it on HP 5. They way he chose to present the book to the class was by doing a movie poster. The assignment isn't due until mid October and he already did it and turned it in. So Ethan. The little planned and over achiever! The poster he did was AMAZING! I'm in such awe of his artistic abilities! He did a great job. We worked together on the coloring and I helped with the idea of different colored tiles for the floor but everything else, Ethan did and drew! I'm so proud of him. He works hard and he really loves school. He is a great little budding artist.
