Right before the kids are off for Thanksgiving week, their school always hosts Family Day. Never never has been able to make any of them so this was his first one. I am SO glad he was there to help with everything. Going to 3 separate classrooms within a 1 hour block is hard. We divided and conquered. He and I would do about 15 mins in one class then switch/rotate so each of the boys got to be with each one of us for a little bit. I hate that we can't be with all 3 of them the whole time. I also hate how it seems that the school doesn't accommodate for parents with kids in multiple classes. It is always very frustrating. I usually sign up to bring something for their classes but this year I didn't whatsoever. I'm over all that. Plus I have a toddler to bring with me. So I went, enjoyed my time with my kids and didn't worry about setting up, cleaning up or organizing anything and I didn't feel bad about that one bit. I've paid my dues and I'm worn out. Anyway, enough of my negative thoughts. I enjoyed seeing the kids in their classes and learning about what they were thankful for. It's a good way to start the Thanksgiving break.
