Since today is Macie's birthday (Monday), we decided to celebrate her birthday with family on Saturday. We met up at the LA Zoo with my parents, Fred's parents and his sister Julie and her son Logan. The boys had a lot of fun and I think Macie did too. She enjoyed the gorillas and snow leopards a lot since they were so active. She preferred to walk pretty much the whole time too. After the zoo, we went to a nearby Islands which is a favorite of ours. We sang to Macie and enjoyed a good dinner with some brownies and ice cream after. Macie was confused about the whole fire/candle and wasn't happy when Daddy helped her to blow it out. Overall, it was a good day celebrating our Moo Moo.
