For Fred's birthday, I did a surprise date night for him. I made reservations at a place called Hanna's. It was very expensive but really yummy. Afterward, we went to Cinopolis. It's a luxury movie theater. I got tickets for us to see a movie called The Quiet Place. It was one we both wanted to see but definitely looked a little too scary for my liking. Although I was really scared, it was a good movie and more of a thriller than a horror in my opinion. Fred was surprised the whole night which was fun. On his actual birthday, he opened his gifts and we made him breakfast in bed. He got a massage and facial from Burke Williams Day Spa, a Dwight pin to go on his backpack and a shirt. Then we went down to downtown Los Angeles to a bookstore called "The Last Bookstore." It's really old, full of character and right up Fred's alley. I know he loves to read and wander around bookstores. It said online that it was kid friendly but I think it would have been more fun for him if we hadn't taken the kids. Oh, well. They had fun too but we would have spent more time in there if we didn't have them with us.
We sure do love our main guy. He is everyones favorite in our house and I don't mind one bit. He's such a great dad, husband and person and we feel so lucky and blessed that he's ours. Happy 36th Birthday, Fred!
