Man Cave

One Saturday, a few weeks ago, Fred came home from a walk with the boys and dog and decided he wanted to do a man cave in the garage. I didn't know if it was just an idea and he wouldn't follow through or if he was really going to do it. Turns out, he was dead serious and that same weekend, we had the start of a man cave. We cleaned out the garage, reorganized it, got the side door repaired and bought some carpet, a futon, tv and tv stand. They decided they wanted it video game theme so I took it upon myself to help them decorate it. While Ethan was away at camp, I did a bunch of projects. Probably took on too many but that's usually how I roll. The one I'm most proud of is the video game controller pieces I painted. I also made Minecraft Lego art. The boys (and Ethan when I finally got home) wanted in on decorating and painting pictures for their man cave too. It now looks like a man cave and is looking awesome. They have had sleepovers out there since and even though its a bit cold (it's still so cold in the night) they have had so much fun. It feels like a new room has been added to the house! I have to give Fred credit for such a fun and good idea!

Asher painted Bullet Bill and Mario

Caleb did the Gumba, Ethan did the Zelda painting and I did the Minecraft.
