For Father's Day, I had the kids made 'Dad Libs' which is like Mad Libs but these were about Father's and Father's Day. I found them online. We all had some great laughs while Fred read them. Of course most of them mentioned things related to the bathroom and bodily functions because they're boys. Good thing Fred finds that stuff hilarious too. I snapped a couple pictures of him reading them.
Asher made Fred some poached eggs, toast and we cut up oranges and while Fred was reading his cards and opening presents, Macie ate his whole breakfast. Just started digging in like it was all for her. It was really funny. We got him a cool phone case thats the shape of a game boy that you can actually play games on, cufflinks, some magnetic balls for work to use (its suppose to help with thinking...?), a mug from The Office, Nutty Buddy's, and a year long membership to the shooting range.
Fred loves being a dad and it shows. He is such a great dad, these kids have no idea how lucky they are. He is always making them laugh, showing love, snuggling, wrestling and devoting his time to them even when he's tired and worn out. One of the reasons I married him was because I knew he would be a really great dad and he has far exceeded my expectations. We love him so much and he is everyone's favorite, which I don't mind. He is mine too.
Happy Father's Day, Fred!
