We were able to visit Great Grandpa Alvin at the beginning of June. He recently just turned 90. It's a pretty far drive to go see him but it was worth it. He was so happy to see us and kept telling me how glad he was that I came to visit him. I wish we could visit more often! He stayed in the recliner in the family room for most of our visit but eventually needed to go back to his bed to rest and get oxygen. That's when we took pictures and said goodbye. The boys love to see him and it makes me so happy that they do. I hope they'll remember him when they're older. I don't know if this will be our last visit with him but either way, I'm so happy we got time to come visit. We love you, Grandpa!!
