Michael Buble Concert

Fred bought me Michael Buble concert tickets for Christmas 2018. The concert was scheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd, 2018. I had been really looking forward to this concert because Michael Buble is rumored to retire soon and he's my favorite male singer. I love his music.

We lucked out because even though the concert was a Tuesday, the kids were on Spring Break so we didn't have school the next day. It really worked out perfectly. We drove down to Staples Center, had dinner and the concert started right at 8pm. Plus side: it was only him performing! Unlike Justin Timberlake who has a horrible opener. Michael Buble talked in between songs and was so witty and funny.

I think my favorite moment was when he sang, "When I Fall in Love." That is Fred and I's wedding song and he sings it on his new album. So, we snuggled up together while he sang our wedding song and it was perfect. I cried for sure but I think Fred shed some silent tears as well. How many people can say they had Michael Buble sing their wedding song to them?! We were on the floor and while we got super close to him when he came by, I had a hard time seeing since everyone would stand when he came by and because we were all on the same floor level. It was still great but I wish I didn't have to move my head so much to be able to see in front of me.

We ran into Bishop Tobler and his wife, Kathleen. They sat a few rows in front of us! We also sat near Fred's coworker who was there with her husband. It was pretty funny seeing such familiar faces right near us! Out of the whole Staples Center! It was such a fun night and I loved every second of it. It was a wonderful experience and I'm so happy we got to go! Fred is too good to me and treats me so well.
