He’s the best first born I could ever ask for. I’m so lucky I get to be his mom! I can't believe he's 17! Where has the time gone?! For this birthday, he and his guy friends did an escape room. After, we took them all to In N Out and back to our house for cake and ice cream. He invited Caleb, Ryder, Jude, Bretton and Joaquin for his group of friends. I was able to get one picture out of the evening. Teenagers are not very willing to do pictures for their mothers I guess.
Here’s 10 fun facts about Ethan at 17 years old:
1. Knows how to play the cello, piano, bass guitar, synthesizer & cymbals. Can figure out how to play any song he’s never played before in the moment, right then and there. It’s incredible. 🎻🎹🎸
2. Favorite music is classical. He often jokes that he can’t see his most favorite artist in concert b/c they’re all dead. ☠️
3. Ethan is wicked smart. He has always been self motivated which has made him a straight A student since Kindergarten.📝
4. Has a weird ‘special’ talent. He can make one eye move & the other stay still. It freaks us all out. 👀
5. His favorite color is yellow because it’s bright & happy.☀️
6. Enjoys trying new foods & is not a picky eater whatsoever but will forever & always hate cheese. 🧀
7. Currently wants to be a conductor & composer when he’s older. 🎶🎵🎼
8. Loves to share random facts about anything & everything. Can often be heard saying, “Did you know…?” or "Want to hear something interesting...?" 🧐
9. Loves to swim for both HS & for the neighborhood. Favorite stoke is freestyle. 🏊🏼♂️
10. Loves to hang out with all his friends but his favorite place to be is home with his family. (Easy to do when your best friend is your brother!) 🏡
