I had made a scavenger hunt for the boys with a secret message at the end. They had clues to take them to the next spot and each spot had letters they had to collect to put together at the end. Ethan was spot on with every guess and spot. The other boys needed some help. At the end the message said: "We are having a baby." Once they figured out the message with a lot of help from me, they kept saying things like, "We are having a baby...shower?...We are having a baby...cousin?" They couldn't understand it. Then once I explained it, they were in a daze. Caleb especially didn't get it. Ethan seemed embarrassed. They knew some type of gift was coming since they saw me wrapping some things so after we told them then they were asking about the gifts. I made them shirts with Big Brother #1, Big Brother #2 and Big Brother #3 on them. They were so excited about those. Then we went out to Olive Garden to celebrate.
Since then they will sometimes make comments about the baby. Mostly when I'm eating they will ask, "So, is baby eating that too?" It's cute. They all want a girl. Daddy video taped the whole things and "interviewed" them about the baby. So glad we decided to do a fun things like that for them. It made it a great memory.
