Caleb recently did his Hero Report. Ethan did one last year too and did Walt Disney. Caleb chose to do Davy Crockett. We had a lot of fun learning about Davy and finding him a costume to wear while he did his presentation. He memorized his speech that was 4 notecards long. He did such a great job! He got 96% on his speech only getting one point knocked off for eye contact. Other than that, it was all 5/5's! I'm so proud of him. He looked so cute and was so excited to do his speech. He looked like the King of the Wild Frontier!
The next day it was 'dress up as your favorite book character' day. He chose to be Bilbo Baggins. It was a stretch trying to find clothes that would work but I think he looked adorable. People kept assuming he was someone from Harry Potter. It's so fun to me that our kids like the Lord of The Rings movies and The Hobbit movies. I love this cute little Bilbo!
